Hi Folks,
I just got a new ax and am having problems getting into the swing of Windows 8.1. E.g. I can't understand the instructions from the help guide of how to make it so that I don't have to enter a password to login to my computer. There's no need for it since I live alone and there's no sensitive information on it. Thanks.

Your on-line login passwords (e.g. in your internet browser) could be sensitive information,
e.g. they could allow access to your email account which could contain "sensitive information".
I have my Windows (vista) set to start up without a password ,
but I use a password on the hard-drive which is more secure than using a windows password.

Actually that's not quite right. You still need to enter a code to log on to your computer. Instead of a password you can change it to a four digit code. Still a pain in the butt.
