Title: What phone apps do you find the most useful?

I found a phone app to keep track of my hours at work, which vary, and it's quite handy. I used to write them down on a piece of paper, but my boss would invariably lose it, which meant I had to also write them down when I got home or enter them in my computer on a spread sheet, and sometimes I'd forget to do it.

Anyway, I was just wondering what apps, besides the the silly or entertaining ones, have actually made your life easier or more organized?

What kind of phone do you have?(what app store does it use??)

Can't we call them applications or programs "apps" always seems a rather un-necessary abriviation

Too late, it's now common parlance : abbreviating "application" to "app" or "applet" has been going on for about a quarter of a century ...
