Title: Kat on the telly
Post by: Roy P on 02/09/2006 21:46:55
Did anyone see our Kat on the ITV lunchtime news yesterday (Friday -- I think)? She was advising on a new cancer breakthrough. She's a cracker isn't she!

I'd like to ask Kat if the treatment might help with a rare blood cancer I have -- Waldenstrom's Macroglobulinemia?

Roy, I do wish you well.

My head is not what it used to be.

I saw the news report Roy but sadly can't remember the kat.

That is a rare one mate but hopefully they will find someway to treat or cure it in the near future.

All my best wishes to you Roy and please keep us informed on how your doing.

Michael

Lovely of you two, but they do say that if you're going to get cancer this is the one to get, because it's a slow one. Fortunately I haven't started treatment yet.

It was funny on Friday -- my ears perked up about the treatment, but then I heard the words 'Kat Arney' and my concentration went all skew-whif. I'll ask my GP on my next visit, but there's nothing like getting it from the horse's mouth. (My GP is the spitting image of Dr Chris, btw)
