Title: Could we use 3D printed cartilage in knee joints?

joseph philip Berry  asked the Naked Scientists:
   Assuming the possibility of replicating cartilage could this be a successful injection into knee joint?

I liken the development of three D printing akin to the wheel because its future, in respect of replication. could remove averice from this world.
