Title: Is there a link between period length and childbirth duration?

Ella van Houten asked the Naked Scientists:
   Do you know if there is a connection between the length of a woman's period duration and the length of the same woman giving birth?

For example, does a woman who has a two day period deliver a child in a shorter time than a woman who has a seven day period?
