Why does shaving the hair from your armpits reduce the amount of sweat you produce?
Or is it just that you notice it less because the sweat is not trapped in the hair and therefore evaporates quicker?

Tony is great !.......I was just about to say the same thing !!...we need an armpit-hair-sweat expert to comment !
but like tony...I was gonna say.more insulation means more heat..which means more sweat !..and probably reduces the ability for it to evaporate so efficiently too ! just like ewe allude to.
