Michael Perry asked the Naked Scientists:
I was wondering how those infinity pools work which look like they go on forever and how come you don't fall off them??

Thanks,

The edge of the pool has water flowing over it, so (from the right angle) the water in the pool appears to merge into the ocean or bay beyond it.
The water flowing over the wall is captured in a drain just beyond the wall, and recycled back through the pool filter.
