Unless you can provide a peer-reviewed scientific study on the effects of this bacterium on human health, I consider this "discovery" a nice example of pseudoscientific voodoo...

Well, does natto and kimchi count as ancient bacteria? They've been around for centuries. And eating them gives you healthier life.
