I take ramipril daily (5mg) and my morning blood pressure is around 140/100 mmHg. >:(
I'm now considering buying red clover supplements, because it contains biochanin A, a naturally occuring fatty acid amide hydrolase (FAAH) inhibitor. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2931556/
FAAH inactivation may normalizes cardiovascular function in essential hypertension without any adverse effects. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21095576
Should I inform my doctor about the potential antihypertensive effect of red clover and replace ramipril with a pharmacological FAAH inhibitor?
What do you think?
