i want to know that is it possible for someone to have one eye blue and the other one brown?if yes then how?
-
Not only is it possible, I even know a person (a former supervisor at an old job) who had ONE eye that was half green and half blue. No joke...his left iris was a green semicircle and a blue semicircle joined together. It was creepy.
As for how that happens, my initial guess is genetic change, like a recessive epistasis, that affects the expression of eye color. There are several genes that affect eye color, so it could really be a mutation involving any of them.

We've covered this in a show last October featuring developmental biologist Professor Martin Raff. A guy called up the show and asked this very question about why he has one blue and one brown eye.

That's funny, I've got two green eyes and one brown eye! Sorry Chris, but I've been waiting for someone to type it like that.

David Bowie has two different eye colors for a very differing reason from inheritance. When he was younger, he was punched in the eye and that caused the "blue eye" to lose pigment. He actually has the genes for 2 brown eyes.
