Title: What is the content of this months Scientific American?

I was told by a friend that the cover story of this month's issue of Scientific American (SA) is about the opioid crisis. I went to the SA website and was not able to readily find the content. Most likely I just didn't look hard enough. That's been my problem in many areas since I became disabled - Me mind is capoot! Lol!

Seriously though. Cam someone point me to the correct URL please? Thanks. I'm sure I could find it if I look hard enough but I'm in a rush to submit an article what I'm working on to a magazine. Thanks!

Please reread my post, i.e. I went to the SA website and was not able to readily find the content.

I went there already. A the bottom it says "current issue" but it does not mention the opioid crisis on the cover and I started  this thread because my friend told me that the current issue has that subject as the cover story. However my friend may have made a mistake. I'll email him and ask. Thanks for your response. Much appreciated.

I can't say right now. My friend sent me an email in which he referred to ... Scientific American because the cover story in their recent issue was about the "opioid crisis". so I don't believe that's the issue. What's odd is that I don't recall the issue you posted since I have a subscription and never saw that. That my life has been nearly destroyed by pain I'm 100% certain that I'd remember seeing it.

Perhaps this is a Bizzaro universe? Lol!

That's not the May 2017 issue. The cover story of he May 2017 issue is Dawn of Technology

Where did you get the idea it was the May 2017 issue?

The latest edition has Trump pontificating about the wickedness of drug dealers but not on the cover .

Gracias! I just got my copy in the mail so I'll read it.

I mentioned your reply to my friend. He just got back to me and explained that he made a mistake and it was that issue he was talking about. I started my subscription shortly after that issue came out. Figures!! :(

I can get a copy online for free. All you have to do is a google search on it and PDF and it comes up.

Can you tell me what issue this is, please? I want to read it. It's not the May 2017 issue and the resolution is too poor for me to make out the date. I'll search for the cover words in the meantime.

What you posted a reference to is not Scientific American standard but its sister magazine Scientific American Mind
