Title: Where does the sound of our mind's inner voice come from?

Where does the sound of the inner voice, the voice that only you can hear, come from? As far we know there are no extra vocal chords in the head or little speakers inside the head that cause the sound of the inner voice.

It comes out of your brain, and feeds into your brain via neural impulses.

Just like the voices we hear when we are dreaming, when there are no external sounds.

I think that this is when you are thinking something and brain misintetprets it as sound. Or if you have 2 troughts...
