Title: Swelling !!..what is it ?

On our way back from going out last night , as we were walking to the car.....wifey fell over and twisted her ankle and knee badly !

Before we had a chance to apply a bag of frozen peas her ankle had swollen well big !!

What is it exactly that has filled her ankle with swelling luff and joy ?

Is it supposed to be the body repairing itself ?...if so...then why is it advisable to put a cold compress onto it ?

...but what is it and where does it come from ?



Unlike wifey...perhaps ewe can take a  'leap ' down ' Answer Avenue ' and let me know !!

Uhm, Karen's post is swollen too...
what about seeing a doctor to fix it
avoiding troubles in the future hours,
days, months?

Well there is a lot of sand but it is from
my sons toy sand pit !

her ankle seems to be healing and she is walking on it albeit slowly !

I think she'll be Ok.

It was more then I thought I copied and frankly it left out the outline form..LOL Oh well you no how to click.. when your one of the jets! LOL You just put your fingers together like this and snap.....HEE HEE
