Title: Hows On Earth Does Google TiSP Broadband work?
Post by: Seany on 25/04/2007 23:25:26: I found it fascinating. They "flush" some cable down your toilet, and plug it in on the other side - in the sewers.

More incredibly, they give you a download speed of 8mbps and upload speed of 2mbps for free!

For download speed 16mbps and upload speed 4mbps, it is about $10, and it gets expensiver, but only about $30 at 16mbps!

How does this actually work? They are only available for US and Canada at the moment, so Karen, you should have got the TiSP! Heehee [;)]

Yes - I recollect, because by the time I read it, it was the 2nd April, and I commented that it was too late to be reading April fool jokes, as the 1st April had passed by.
