Hello.

Can you please learn to write correct English? The question - and almost all of your other posts - should include the words "a" or "an" before the noun. So it should be "What is an umbrella generator?"

It would be quite nice if you could add the question mark (?) too to save me consistently having to edit your posts to do it.

In the 1700s, most heavy mechanical work was performed by large horses (like Clydesdales).
When James Watt developed his steam engine, he wanted to show how much power it had, in terms that people could understand. So he expressed it in "horsepower" - how many horses would it take to produce the same power.

It would take over 14,000 horses to produce the same power as an 11MW turbine or generator.
