“yes, yes, that sounds like an excellent idea"

But now that I've told you you may have difficulty hearing the F-word :

It's an audible-version of these type of ambiguous bistable images ...

Strange that what he is saying is

"Sounds like" which turns into "flipping"

I reccon that it has to do with daily hearing changes. There was one about a year ago where people noticed lyrics  in a particular song sounding different to different people. Turns out it depended that sort of speakers you played it through, ie low range capable.

But in this case I (and others (https://www.thenakedscientists.com/forum/index.php?topic=75798.msg563815#msg563815)) can make it switch back an forth, from clean to blue, from one instance to the next, on the same hardware, (same speakers / headphones / computer ). If you imagine one version just before he speaks, that's what you hear. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Priming_(psychology))

I should say its along siminlar lines. The low range sound pronunciation of "flipping" and the higher sound range of "sounds", depending whether you think low range or high. Good example of 'they eare jast wot they wont to hear'. Goes alot higher than the simple level of sounds. The very meaning of words, your view of the communique and context of them can change depending on what your predisposition is. New speak for all I say.
