Title: How is rubber produced?

I have been watching a film set in Brazil of the 1890's when rubber was harvested from naturally growing trees by millions of unfortunate slaves, I trust we no longer get it this way but how is it produced today.

We now pay them a bit better and the price of rubber is higher as a consequence.

Most "rubber" is actually a synthetic version

Yean ,no one is 100% natural.
