Title: Can we simulate any bioprocess on a surface?

Hello!

Where are tons of biochemical processes that start with a substrate that through a cascade of several enzymes and some smaller molecules, it is converted in a different molecule.

Can we simulate these processes in a surface or chip? Is it so easy as if we put the enzyme mix on a surface?
