Title: Hypothetically, what would be the greatest science mysteries in Star Wars?
Post by: Maximum7 on 06/07/2019 03:42:26
What do you think are the greatest mysteries of science in the Star Wars galaxy? I think they probably know what dark matter and dark energy are since Starkiller Base is powered by it. They probably know what the full size of the universe is, how it started, how it will end and why their is more matter than anti-matter.

They obviously know the origin of consciousness and how to create it since they have “sentient” droids

That being said, what is left to wonder about?

Why anyone pays to make or watch this rubbish. The flying motorbikes were fun in the first film, but everything else, plot, dialog, acting, pace, and effects, was shoddy.

Still, it exemplifies Calverd's Law of Science Fiction: the more advanced the civilisation, the more primitive its hand weapons. Light sabres, indeed! Fluorescent tubes with vibrators.

Star Trek, by comparison, was fun with cardboard scenery, written by a naval aviator who had some idea about combat. Hand axes maybe, but the precursor of mobile phones, MRI, and quantum entanglement.
