Title: Can more than one electric items together generate electromagnetic radiation?
Post by: scientizscht on 25/08/2019 23:27:22
Hello!

When you have an electrified particle that moves, it generates electromagnetic radiation.

If you have a bunch of electrified particles moving with different charges and that altogether have neutral charge, will this still generate electromagnetic radiation?

If I'm not mistaken, this is exactly what causes hot objects to radiate (incandescence). The movement of the atoms (which contain charged particles) generates electromagnetic radiation, with faster moving particles generating shorter wavelengths. If I've got that wrong, someone please do correct me on that.

When you have an electrified particle that moves accelerates, it generates electromagnetic radiation.
