What is the difference between chimeric and recombinant proteins?

A recombinant protein is one that has been added to an organism in its entirety. A chimaeric protein is one that comprises a fusion with bits of the protein derived from different organisms. So I might make a chimaeric protein that is half human insulin and half pig insulin, for instance.
