Title: Bio-cellular combustion engine?
Post by: colarris on 25/10/2019 17:38:46
Would it one day be plausable that we produce an engine that uses cells to produce the energy needed to operate the mechanics of a machine?

Thanks for the reply.

I was thinking more about the Mitochondria part of the cell, sorry.

I don't think so.  It would be like comparing horse and buggy to a car.  Energy only has to be used when the machine is in use.  A horse is a 24/7 liability.  And requires many more auxiliary systems.  Such as a healthy maintained living environment.  And a fart shield.

We can put a machine in the closet.
