Hello,
I wanted to share this interview of John Godier titled 'Is Interstellar Travel Possible?':
[Link to personal you-tube channel removed]
What do you think? do you think it's achievable this century?

Instead of spamming links to your personal channel to multiple sites, perhaps you should post why you think interstellar travel is possible.
My opinion: Of course it's possible. We're already doing it, just with small craft that are not expected to be able to do anything if they get anywhere interesting.
I suppose you mean manned spaceflight, but then you have to make it practical, and give it purpose. Why send people to certain deaths when it is far less expensive to kill them before departure? What can only live people do that necessitates such an inefficient trip?
Want to populate the next planet? Send a ship full of equipment, robots, and embryos. Terraform the destination over millions of years and slowly introduce the life forms carried, preferably modified for the new environment. Result: People (sort of) on the next planet that have a shot at staying alive, and all at under 1% the cost of what you're probably envisioning. I didn't watch the video.
