The geometry is like before: a circle in translation and a segment in rotation:

The distance moved by the twine is d2 not d1 I calculated before. The length of the twine is constant. The distance of friction depends of the length of the twine that rotates around the circle. Take a fixed dot and you will see that distance is d2 not d1.
