I was trying to sleep one night, and came up with an idea to generate electricity from infinite momentum. what i thought of is a system with 2 springs and a heavy ball on a piece of wire. the idea is that the ball would bounce between the 2 springs, and the kinetic energy from the springs gets transferred into energy.

First of all, momentum isn't energy, and your system has finite (possibly zero) momentum at any given time. I presume the other end of the springs are attached to something like a pair of walls.
If energy is being taken from the motion of the springs, then the system will quickly slow to a halt, and the (very finite) energy of the system will be removed.
