Title: What's the explanation for any long-term adverse effects from vaccines?

Morin asks:

Is there a general biological explanation for long-term adverse effects of vaccines, and if yes, what is it?

Can you help?

All vaccines are perfectly safe and there are no side effects say Doctors the world over.

Any side effect is a coincidence or imagined due to the ant-vaxxer lobby.

Anti-vaxxers should be arrested and sent to an isolated prison ship far away.

Since a vaccine mimics some aspect of the virus it is intended  to protect against, it is quite likely that there will be cases of persistent side effects. The development and testing process is designed to identify and minimise these. Clearly in the case of a novel virus and an emergency vaccine development program, not all contraindications or persistent side effects may have been identified, but as long as the benefits outweigh the known risks, common sense demands that we should enjoy the benefits and watch out for unknown risks.

Nope, they just say that the vaccine is safer tan getting the virus.

long-term adverse effects of vaccines
You seem to be presuming that there are long-term adverse effects of vaccines.
- Since this is a science discussion board, please provide some evidence before we believe you.
- We won't be a passive billboard for anti-vaxxer propaganda

And you will need to better than just repeat the publicly-known information
- Which shows that there is an ongoing monitoring programme for vaccine side-effects, even after they are used in production
- And when a long-term side-effect is identified, the use of this vaccine is halted, or replaced by a safer one.
See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vaccination#Side_effects

On the other hand, there are some long-term positive effects from vaccination, like:
- 30% of children no longer die from smallpox
- Far fewer people die from measles than in the past
- The same could be said for many other diseases, including influenza and COVID-19.

methinks.
You need to demonstrate that.

Simple explanation :-

The body don't want foreign objects inserted and lunches an inflammatory response which can damage itself.

Many contributors seem to speak rectally, but we now learn that some have tried to ingest a pasty or two through the wrong orifice.
