Title: magnetic propeller
Post by: liuxiaod on 28/02/2021 06:20:03
I designed a magnetic propeller, which is in vixra.org/abs/2102.0146
It does not use fuel and rocket. It generate propellant force by magnetic force (Lorenz force). It will send people to Mars and even further.(https://www.thenakedscientists.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2F%5Battachment%3D0%5D%5B%2Fattachment%5D&hash=8b64be1b1d8475de624f0aaf923b6546)

Magnetic propellers for ships have been studied since the1960s - with special interest in super-quiet submarines
- As featured in the movie The Hunt For Red October
- These use sea-water as the reaction mass.
- But they are not efficient, and haven't been used commercially

Space has no reaction mass.
- So how do you bypass Newton's famous "Every action has an equal and opposite reaction" if you have no reaction mass?

this device uses special structure of magnet to achieve special interactions. If you know the analysis of Lorenz force, you can get the force direction for magnetic cylinder and magnetic ring respectively. Remember the atomic current around the surface of magnet. Magnetic cylinder is very special. It is not available in the world yet.

Newton's law is very famous, while it is more than 300 years old. We are naked scientists so we don't need to follow him everywhere.  :)

Come back when it is.

Investors waiting. Bring me a working prototype.

Yes, we do. If your device violates Newton's third law, then it won't work.

The magnetic cylinder is not easy to make. Once the magnetic cylinder is available, the prototype is done.

Looking forward to it.

If it can't violate Newton's third law, how does it work?

The Newton's law doesn't matter. I am a PhD in physics. When we search for new theory, it is good if it meet Newton's law. If it violates Newton's law, then it is a gift.
Newton's law study the mechanical force between point to point, while Lorenz force is not point to point. Lorenz force is helical force. It opened the door to new possibilities.

You have a PhD in physics, but were never taught about Noether's theorem?

It's strange that you call a theory that doesn't work a gift.

Conservation of momentum applies to all systems.

Lorenz force is helical force. It opened the door to new possibilities.
As well as conservation of linear momentum, there is also a requirement for conservation of angular momentum.
- This applies to rotating propellers (which produce a helical wake), whether physical or magnetic

Remember the atomic current around the surface of magnet
Please clarify what this means.
- Currents which produces a magnetic field are a movement of charged particles
- Atoms are generally non-charged
- So how do you get an "atomic current"?
