Post by: syhprum on 16/03/2021 16:44:25
I have always considerate my height to be 1.83m but on a recent hospital visit I was measured as 1.80m.
Is this done to reduce crowding on Charons ferry boat

Hi,

because of the decreasing fluid content in the body is affecting the elasticity of the intervertebral discs. These lose height as a result, and so the height of the body can decrease by a few centimeters.

Best thing to do with your BMI is to ignore it. According to BMI, Arnold Schwarzenegger at his fittest was clinically obese.

But if you are worried, the trick is to spend a couple of days lying down and drinking plenty of water to rehydrate your intervertebral discs, then get measured in the ,morning. Back in the day, a fighter pilot saw my buddy's glider just in time, pulled up at 9g, scorched the tail of the glider, and lost 5 cm, which is quite a lot as fighter jocks tend to be short at the best of times! My buddy met him later, returned to duty after a month of bed rest and rehydration.
