Title: Does anyone else feel time moves faster with age?
Post by: Pseudoscience-is-malarkey on 28/06/2021 23:23:14
When I was in elementary school (that's primary school to you brits) every classroom would make a time capsule at the beginning of the school year, and open it at the end. Every time we opened a time capsule it would feel like we did it ages ago. Some items were simply papers where would write our favorite band, and at the end of the year, we would chuckle or get embarrassed by what we wrote because we no longer liked them. NOW... I feel like 2006 (the year my brother got married) or 2009 (when I lost my paternal grandmother) or 2014 (when I lost both my father and maternal grandmother) happened just last year or something.

Half the problem is that you don't do what you did when you were in elementary school.
Wow, that's a long time I spent reading your post and replying.  OK, bye.  I've got a bike to ride and a house to build.  I should get that done before lunch.

Time does seem to go faster the older I get. There must be some sort of explanation for this may be just our perception changes with age.
