Have you tried to use smartphones to navigate here? We have different kind of problem.
The size isn't much of problem since we can Zoom it in until only a few characters are shown. But often time the page numbers are quickly covered by advertising. I have to rotate the phone to make them visible again.
Another problem I have when using smartphone is quoting parts of someone's statement. The action menu can overlap with copy/share/select all/web search hover button, so the Quote(selected) button becomes inaccessible.
Can it be brought to front so it becomes accessible?

I often use an ipad where the pointer is a finger and have no problem
