Post by: Falac on 02/12/2021 18:54:13
I am looking to join a subscription service of a reliable scientific magazine because I find youtube is full of people trying to make a name in science and unreliable information .
I am looking to broaden my knowledge , can you recommend a reliable magazine ?

Scientific American is good, National Geographic is authoritative, and New Scientist is current if a bit superficial.

A paper in some prestigeous journal (it may have been Nature or The Lancet) was shown to be wrong and the editor was intervied on the matter. In answer to the question "How many other papers in your journal are wrong?", they replied "All of them"

There is some good science on youtube, try Sabine Hossenfelder or Anton Petrov.

I first subscribed to NationalGeographic magazine after reading an article about how the kydex vs carbon fiber holster for the Mossberg MC1sc was compared. And since I'm a big gun fan, I couldn't resist subscribing to this magazine. I think I even signed up for a year's subscription right away, as it is a very informative magazine.
