Yes. If they answer no they should be arrested and put in jail.

There are certainly aspects of science that people may not like, and discussing them is worthwhile (more on the chat pages, probably):
- Lack of reproducibility should be a concern for all scientists
- There will be concerns about how much money (or how little money) is spent on science, or on what type of science
- As I understand it, Phds & Post-Docs are often treated like slave labour, with no future certainty
- Some of the applications of science may cause concerns
- And that's even before you get into risk/benefit analysis (eg for climate change or vaccination, to quote some recent examples)
-
All parasites hate science. Nonhuman parasites tend to be killed by the application of science. Human parasites rely on an absence of skepsis - the very stuff of science - to protect their bank balance.

Re: Should people that hate science be banned from posting?
No.
P.S. - Better to be Hated for what you are, than to be Loved for what you are Not.

It's French author André Gide.

Origin, putting them in jail would bankrupt any country, given the amount of anti-science currently circulating. I suggest putting them in stocks and fire rotten tomatoes, rotten eggs and maybe the occasional durian at them , until they recant their heresy.

It won't be a problem for a country where the vast majority of its citizens are scientifically literate.
Violence will only strengthen their current believes, and support their suspicions that you have no valid reason other than repressive authority.

A slave's future is absolutely assured, but the future of an independent thinker (isn't that what a PhD is all about?) is whatever he makes of it.
