I'm glad it works that way, but do you guys have somewhere here to say 'a list of useful sources' where you can find what you need by keyword? This seems like a good idea to me.
(I do agree that this kind of advertising is not acceptable) but make a page where there would be more sources that would go through moderation.

    I'm not staff for this website but I would say "no".   There is a "search" box but it's not great  (e.g. it finds words rather than topics of discussion).   See below.

     There is no repository of "approved stuff" like some science forums have   (I'm thinking of one website called Physics Forums where they have "insight articles").     The best hope to find sensible information is to just to create a new thread and ask your question.   Some of the older users and/or moderators will often point you in the direction of an older discussion because they can still remember it.

     Anyone can reply to you.   You'll quickly identify people who you think are more reliable.   For example those with "global moderator" written under their name are reasonably reliable.
