Title: What exactly is that??

I undertand that there is a sort of energy in between our hands??? (and that you can make is stronger if you want over time)?

what is it? does anyone know wt im talking abt?...i saw a program on it a while back...but i always wondered.

wow reiki huh? i had never heard of that b4 but no - i wasn't thinking of reiki. Thx though.
It was some martial art ....that focuses on this energy between the hands...kind of like a magnet. And you can make this energy stronger and stronger over time... But o well.

It's called Chi (Japanese) or Kai (Chinese). In Chinese martial arts hard and soft styles are differentiated by whether Kai is used or just physical strength. Soft styles (such as Wing Chun, Pa Kua and Bil Tze) harness the power of Kai.

There is only 1 soft Japanese style - Shorinji Kempo. Not surprisingly, this style is an import from China. Shorinji is the Japanese form of the word Shaolin.

In India the same energy is that which flows between the Chakras.

Or none of these are true - more to do with spiritual beliefs than science.

There is a quantum mechanical force that can be measured between two closely spaced conducting surfaces; known as the Casimir effect....
