I grew up with the propaganda on both sides of the "argument". Obviously, my male peers maintained that a big phallus is something to be proud of, while women were more consolatory saying "It's not the size of the boat, but the motion of the ocean".

Odd as it may seem, No.
I also haven't paid a lot of attention to the size of fishing vessels, which (like dildos) are different from penises.

I did some research.
It seems they are available in a range of sizes.
That implies that many different sizes work well enough to sell.
That supports my contention that size certainly isn't the overwhelming factor.

It is if you are trying to catch big fish, or lots of small ones, but most people prefer to use a rod or a net rather than dangle their personal tackle in the ocean.
