The towel continuely absorbs while also loosing moisture from dripping out the bottom as gravity takes the drips down.. and of course a certain amount of evaporation. just rubbing the water down and off will dry you as your body  heat should take care of any remaining moisture the towel doesn't get. your skin is not as absorbent as the towel and needs less effort to dry itself. most of the water drips off even if you squeegee your self off!

 WELL.....UH.....He's the baby sheep..? What shall I do! LOL Heck he better do his homework I might be wrong! LOL Like you said I speak logicly but that doesn't mean it's right..LOL
