Hi,
This might be a new fault with the website.
Where is the fault?
I generally access the forum by starting from the homepage www.nakedscientists.com

Then hover the mouse over the "Get Naked" button, where a drop-down list of options would then appear.
From the drop-down list I select "Science Forum".

What is the problem?
The drop-down list frequently dissappears as you slide the mouse pointer down it. It dissappears before you can move the mouse pointer down as far as "science forum", so you can never select it.
How often does this happen?
Not always. It's happened to me about 1 time in 2 over the last month.
How do I solve it?
Perseverance. Start by clearing or minimising all the adverts that may drop-down or pop-up around that area (because they tend to get in the way).
A pull-down tab for the adverts may still persist and could still be a problem. I may then need to re-size the the window. At about three-quarter size you might have all the drop-down buttons in a better place and the drop-down list may actually work.
If that still fails, a Google search can find the URL to take you straight to the science forum rather than the homepage.
Why does this matter?
You need to be quite determined to access the forum. A casual or first time visitor would just give up or assume there simply wasn't any forum to be accessed. So you are probably losing some visitors.
Other relevant information:
I use the Firefox browser, version seems to be 140.0.2 (64 bit).
My best guess about the cause of the problem:
The drop-down and pop-up adverts may be half of the problem. They may be interfering with functionality of the User Interface.

I don't expect much to be done about this, I'm aware there are more pressing matters affecting the Naked Scientists at the moment. I just thought I'd make a report on the fault for the benefit of anyone who just might be managing the website in the future.
Best Wishes.
