Title: Why don't wasps and hornets produce honey?

Wasps and hornets rely on honey just as much as bees, but they, with the exception of Mexican Honey Wasps, don't produce it and rely on annihilating bee hives to get it.

For the same reason that cows don't.
They are not bees.
