Mange tout Rodney, mange tout!
-
What is Rodney eating Stuart?
-
Everything!
Mange tout is the English name given to sugar snap peas, because you eat the whole pod. I guess the french name was used as it doesn't sound as good in english. "Would sir like buttered eat everything with that?".....Rodney is a character in "Only Fools and Horses", who has a cockney (east-end London) brother (Delboy) who considers himself to be something of a business man, and likes to show off by drinking and eating what he considers to be high class stuff (cocktails with umbrellas etc), but are actually quintessentially naff. To show his international business acumen, he takes to speaking french, but somewhat out of context - "Let's not say goodbye, but bonjour".
-
Bonjour! I like it! LOL!! Sounds funny! Interesting story! LOL

East End? EAST END? Since when has Peckham been in the East End? It's Sarf, innit! Sarf o' the bleedin' river, like. Sarf, I say!
Another bit of Delboy Frogglish was "Fromage frais, Rodney!" to express exasperation.

LOL LOL!
