Title: What's Bigger Than A Supernova ?

This is a Supernova:

Nice isn't it ?..notice how colourful and non life threatening to earth it is ?

But there are even bigger explosions than supernovas aren't there ?...even bigger than the bean farting scene in Blazing Saddles !!

What are these extraordinarily unimaginable larger explosions and how much bigger are they than your run-of-the-mill supernova ?
