Title: The Science of Cocktails !
Post by: Les the Scientist on 05/09/2005 19:28:04
Ok then, I was tad tipsy the other night and tried a cocktail called a brain haemorrhage.  As far as I can remember it had Bailey's, Grenadine and something else in it.  Anyway, the Bailey's curdles in the glass when mixed with other spirits!  So does anyone know what all that's about ?

id assume the acid from something else curdles the dairy in the baileys. sounds sort of gross to me. alcoholic cottage cheese

It's Baileys, Grenadine and Archers. It sounds and tastes pretty grim, but looks very cool!
We tried making them at house, but couldn't get the layers to stay seperate. I think the trink is to have the Archers very cold and pour very carefully.
