Title: How convert a smartphone into a portable digital microscope. 175x mag.

Hello all!

I want to share with you all my my design of a stand that converts your smartphone into a digital microscope.

 http://www.instructables.com/id/10-Smartphone-to-digital-microscope-conversion/ (http://www.instructables.com/id/10-Smartphone-to-digital-microscope-conversion/)

I designed and built this stand after seeing macro photos that someone online had taken with their smartphone with the aid of the focus lens of a laser pointer.  I believe this design can be a viable option for folks wanting to explore the world of cells without sinking money into an expensive scope.  Cells are easily observed through this scope and I've replicated some basic high school biology labs with it.

I would love to hear any and all feedback/improvements/questions that you have about this design.

Here is a link to the video which outlines the project:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KpMTkr_aiYU (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KpMTkr_aiYU)
