Are any animals aloof?
Yes, there are quite a few solitary species, especially in challenging environments like deserts.
But they tend to make a (temporary) exception during breeding season.

Yes, most animals will eat food themselves, rather than sharing it - especially if they are starving.
Many species find food for their offspring or close relatives.
Other species will share food with a pack, even if it is made up of unrelated individuals.
