Title: How do you make a protein soluble?
Post by: EvaH on 23/07/2020 14:28:48
Stefan asks:

A peripheral protein, after cell sonication and centrifugation of the components, remains in the insoluble fraction. Why when that protein is treated with 0.5M NaCl and then centrifuged, does it become soluble?

Can you help?
