Physiology & Medicine / Re: Does sleeping without a pillow improve spine and posture?
« on: 10/07/2019 05:24:45 »
Because no pillow is a pretty serious thing, I'd first suggest starting slowly. Down your pillow size by 20% each week, to eventually go to no pillow at week 5. From week 5 on it's really important to stay hydrated, drink a lot of water. I would also inform your friends, family, and doctor that you are on no pillow, to keep an eye on you.

No pillow really did wonders for me. I got a new job, got new friends, and even got a girlfriend now.
My gains in the gym are insane, everyone asks if I'm on steroids.

General Science / Re: Why does a pillow on my tummy make me sleep better at night?
« on: 21/03/2019 08:58:23 »
I don't like synthetic pillows. They don't seem to compress as well. I'm a stomach sleeper and got a top of the line down pillow from one of the stores here. Can't remember which one as we bought so many pillows! It wasn't cheap, but 5 years later, I'm still loving it. Though it is about time for a replacement....

Physiology & Medicine / Re: What are the best ways to learn a new language?
« on: 21/03/2019 08:56:58 »
imo the best way to start learning the content (for example web design or child care) which you like on the language you interested in learning, everyday read in that language, remember 10-20 new words on daily basis, probably sing the songs you like the language you learn, or play games or watch films with that lang - it's easy and you dont feel it so much hard

Physiology & Medicine / Re: Why do women live longer than men?
« on: 21/03/2019 08:53:53 »
cuz they're less affected by dangerous situations, they did not participate in war/battles etc.
mens live less, cuz they're care of their life no so much

I suppose it depends on the individual body characteristics, but approx. ~3-5 times

General Science / Re: What do you find difficult in life?
« on: 21/03/2019 08:40:38 »
Honestly, since I learned the work of D.Carnegy Stop worry and start living, I finish almost all my worries neither it's a work question, or relations with any people, also weeding helped me not to worry about such things and sleep healthier

General Science / Re: Should I worry about electromagnetic fields (EMFs)?
« on: 21/03/2019 08:36:24 »
No, you shouldn't worry about everything tbh - it's stupid and pointless in most cases since it reflected on the mental health state
