OMG................LOL

Did I walk off a Ordovician Cliff and enter the TWILIGHT ZONE?......It seems I am up to my neck in
Trilobite sh1t, from someone who does not know me...nor do I know him?   lol

Sooo........sometimes I type faster then my pay grade,"lol".......so what!......yea....the hard words I have written on paper in front of me. lol......and so what about that!!!!!!

AWAAAAAAAAAA! Just a question, were you someone who got kicked off the met-list! (just asking) You do not have to answer! lol............Dude I am a nobody..I collect strange rocks, and buy a few meteorites.....no big deal..!!

Hello Everyone,
Thank you all so much. I have no hard feelings towards anyone. I think my introduction
of my self was just a miss understanding.
So I beleave the moderators of this fourm Should just Delete this thread I started as a introduction, (for the sake of young childern and students who may want to post on here) We don't want to scare them off, from posting what they found.
I have many detailed photos of my rocks, My 1st I think I will up-load to face book and provide a link to you all in a new thread. That way I dont up load 7-8 photos here.

Dear Freinds,

Could we please start over.

As obvious in my first post, I did not come here to sell anything. I bought meteorites from professionals to study, then to donate to schools to inspire students in education.

I am only seeking help that someone can identify some strange metamorphic "terrestrial" rocks that I will post photos of today. That there might be a geolgist on here that has expertise in the process that may have formed these rocks and what catagorey of rock they fall into.

Thanks for any help.

Wow,
What a 1st warm welcome, If the rest of the members are like you two, perhaps I was wrong? This is not the best geology fourm on the net?

1st of all I belong to the meteorite list (met-list) as so is Dr. Ted Bunch and Dr. Randy Korotex.  (Washington University)
2nd, I have meteorites obtained from top sellers like "Greg Hupe".....Gary Fujihara,....Arizona sky meteorites and Eric Wickmen MeteoritesUSA.
Here is a link to (one/ fourth) of my collection!........Do you still not think they are meteorites???

That being said, Let me tell you about meteorites,
Fresh chondrites: Have fusion crust(some diogentites may not)
                       Density > then 3.0
                       may or may not have regmaglypts
                       Will be magnetic (HED... TYPE METEORITES MAY NOT BE MAGNETIC AS WELL AS ACHONDRITES)
                       Will most likly have iron nickel flakes
                       And May or maynot have Chondrules that you can see.

So (RD)and CliffordK just because I Posted in my 1st post on this fourm, That I know a little about geology,
                                                       2, I collect strange rocks
                                                   and 3,because I have a collection of 30 meteorites,
You guys become Sarcastic, and So-unprofessional!!!!!........I could go on and on! ( you did not see my strange rocks, which i did not imply they were meteorites(there not) and you did not see my meteorites, before you made your comments!

One more thing RD, You have 5 gold stars above your name,,4000+++ post, were all 4000+++post like this, I sure hope not. For the sake of the students!!!!!!!!

Dear Members,
I just joined a few days ago. I am Dave and live in Butler county Ohio. I have been collecting artifacts and strange rocks for 35 years.(I study geology as a hobby)
From what I have learned on the internet, I took a collage level geology test (Igneous rocks) and got a 78%.

For only internet training, I think I did well? I can Identify most rocks in the 3 major groups.
But that is why I search for Strange rocks and meteorites, (I have 30 meteorites that I have bought)

I am lucky to live in the Glacier belt cause once in a while you find a one of a kind rock that is hard to identify. (So that is where you come in! LOL), I know it is hard, I find that it is funny how you can find a strange rock, AND NEVER FIND A PICTURE OF A SIMLAR ROCK ON THE NET! and wonder what process created it. (I have basic ideas, but there not BLACK-WHITE!

In the next few days I will post my most bizar basalt and 2 bizar metamorphic rocks and see if anyone can provide any help.

I have been on many Geology web. fourms, from what I have seen so far "THIS IS THE BEST!"
