My daughter smoke and plan to have a baby. She claim there is no real scientific real proof that smoking before being pregnant is dangerous to the child.
Can someone help me and give a reference to a big ( many persons ) research which does proof it?

General Science / How does subliminal messaging work?

I like your program.

1. What is the empirical / scientific support for the usefulness of subliminal messaging?  And what is the best duration of the message?

2. I download 2 software programmes which claim that they are sending a message to the screen for a duration of 10 ms every 1 second. Can we see such a short duration with our concious mind (not the unconscious) because I can still see a flicker on the screen.

So what is shortest duration we can still see with our concious?

Does subliminal messaging needs that we do not see anything from the message with our concious?
