Marisa Byliefeldt  asked the Naked Scientists:

Hi Chris

Firstly, I really love your slot on 702 (http://www.thenakedscientists.com/ask) with Redi!

I suffer from dysphagia - do you know what causes this? And if there are any cures besides drugs?

Regards
Marisa

What do you think?

Can be different causes for different types of dysphagia ...

oropharyngeal (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oropharyngeal)   ( choking on food )   or oesophageal (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oesophageal)  ( food stuck in gullet ).
