Title: Can you recommend a YouTube video downloader?
Post by: cheryl j on 05/07/2018 12:10:28
Can anyone recommend a YouTube video downloader. The free one I used before worked great, was fast, easy, but then they put  restrictions on any video longer than 3 minutes.
Thanks

I've used this one ... http://www.youtubedownloaderhd.com/reviews.html
Free, cross-platform, (Windows/Mac/Linux) & apparently no strings attached.

Others are available ...

Search the internet for torch browser.
It is the same as google chrome.
It has an inbuilt media grabber, 1 click - download. no need for 3rd party software or extensions. ( just play the video for a few seconds so that it detects it )
Also, within the settings, you can download the video and then it will extract the audio which ideal if you want the music only to transfer to your phone.
The media grabber works with most websites that have video content.
Best thing is just download it and have a play around with it, it`s 100% free open source, got nothing to lose.
