ABO and food
« on: 14/05/2004 01:12:54 »
I red somewere something about corelation between food we eat and ABO blood type system.

Allegedly, people with O type should eat more red meat and less milk and milk products.

Sounds a little bit strange, even crazy...

Is this theory supported with some facts, or is it new age fairy tale?

People with blood type "O" are more susceptible for a gaster ulcus. They feel incomfort when drinking milk becouse it irritates their mucose, either directly or by increasing HCl secretion by parietal cells, I`m not sure.
